In the context of the recent 2nd Coaching in Africa Symposium held in Kenya, this is one in a series of presentations reflecting on the
practicalities that the symposium participants raised. In this session we will share:
– the three obstacles
globally that hold leaders back (based on data from 35000 leaders across the world)
– the three aspirations of African leaders based on ongoing research
– recommendations on way forward using a culture transformation framework
– participants will be also contributing to this ongoing Pan African research.
Dr. Mongezi Makhalima is an organisation -development specialist, organisational learning expert & accredited Chartered Coach with over 20 years’ experience in corporate and NGO’s focusing on Human resources, talent management and change management. He is a Programme Director of the Postgraduate Programme in Coaching Psychology at The Africa Centre for Work-Based Learning and also chairman of the Africa Board for Coaching, Consulting & Coaching Psychology – ABCCCP.
