365 Days of Inspiration: A Philosophy to life in 140 Characters Paperback

We all have these moments, when you REALIZE what you have been learning all along and it synthesizes into a few words that even a 2 year old will get. It is a special moment. Except many of us do not take time to write this down. In this book the author has set out to synthesize his philosophy of life, informed by introspective analysis, reflection on the work with clients for the last 25 years or so and especially in the last two years of deep observation and recording of life’s important challenges and joys. Rather than write a lengthy academic treatise on the theory, the author opted to synthezise these important lessons of life into 140 characters per lesson, very suitable to the twitter generation. At the end though the author offers a model and a psychology that underpins these lessons, to enable the reader to apply these lessons to every aspect of their life.

Journal of Coaching, Consulting and Coaching Psychology in Africa: Issue 2

Dec 25, 201615781804_10155541157690828_3995551324749668461_n

by Dumisani Magadlela PhD and Mongezi C. Makhalima PhD
When reading global surveys in this domain, the big question that is often encountered is: is there an African coaching model, approach or framework? Could it be different from what is happening currently in other parts of the world? Are there developments across the continent that the rest of the world could learn from on how to consult to Africa, or consult out of Africa?
The purpose of this journal is to share and showcase African coaching thought leadership, best practice, and research material in the journal’s focus areas.
We are happy to present issue 2 of a diversity of papers that explore the frontiers of Coaching, Consulting and Coaching Psychology in Africa.
